Valentine Hearts Conversation Treat Box

Candy Box Size: 1-3/4” x 3-3/8”
Finished Box Size: 2” x 4”
Supplies:
Stamps: Bee My Valentine
Designer Series Paper: Cute as a Bee; Made with Love
Cardstock: Basic White
Ink: Basic Black; Sweet Sorbet
Punches: 1-1/4” Circle; Heart & Scallop Heart
Tools: Bone Folder; Paper Snips; Paper Trimmer
Adhesive: Liquid Glue; Stampin’ Dimensionals; Tear & Tape
Embellishments: Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins
Other: Brach’s Sweet Bright Conversation Hearts (1-3/4” x 3-1/2”)
Directions:
DSP Box:
1. DSP 6” x 4-3/4”
2. Score 3/4” for the bottom on 4-3/4” side;
Score 1” - 1-3/4” - 3-3/4” - 4-1/2” on 6” side
(Note: place any directional front & back DSP facing upward before Scoring)
3. Fold on all Score lines & burnish with Bone Folder
4. Punch the top front center with one-half of the 1-1/4” Circle Punch
5. Cut up bottom Score lines to the next Score line
Adhering Sides:
1. Lay DSP flat & fold the left side over at the second Score line;
Add Tear & Tape along the edge on the front side, from the top to the bottom;
Remove backing, fold the other side over & adhere sides together
Adhering the bottom:
1. Fold the bottom back flap by the seam inward without adhesive
2. Add Liquid Glue on the inside of the other three sides;
Fold the two sides inward, then fold over the front to close;
(Note: This creates a finished look for the Box)
3. Run the round end of Bone Folder along the inside bottom to adhere
Sentiment:
1. Punch a Scallop Heart from scrap DSP with the same pattern as the inside of the Box
2. Punch a Heart Punch from Basic White Cardstock;
Stamp “Happy Valentine’s Day” in coordinating ink
3. Adhere two Hearts together with Stampin’ Dimensionals;
Adhere to front of Box with Stampin’ Dimensionals at an angle
4. Add a Heart Sequin
Finishing up:
1. Place a Box of Conversation Hearts inside
