It's a great idea to use up leftover Christmas DSP for other projects!
Supplies:
Stamps: Be My Valentine
Designer Series Paper: Modern Christmas
Cardstock: Basic Black; Basic White
Ink: Real Red
Tools: Bone Folder; Paper Snips; Paper Trimmer
Adhesive: Tear & Tape
Embellishments: Traditional Sparkling Sequins
Other: Gift Card
Directions:
Card Holder:
1. Cut DSP 6” x 5-1/2”
(Note: Line up the any directional pattern on both sides with the 6” side)
2. Score 1” at bottom & 1” at the top on 5-1/2” side;
Score 1-1/2” & 4-1/4” on 6” side;
Fold on Score Lines & burnish with Bone Folder;
(folding the top forward & the bottom to the back)
3. Cut off both sides of the bottom, a little above the Score Line for an easy fold;
Hold Bag closed & turn upside down;
Cut from the corner Score Line at an angle all the way across;
Flip over & repeat for other side
(Note this will create even sides for the bottom)
4. Adhere the top to the front with Tear & Tape all the way across;
Adhere sides together with Tear & Tape;
Adhere the bottom with Tear & Tape to close Bag
Sentiment:
1. Punch Scallop Heart Punch from Basic Black Cardstock
2. Punch Heart Punch from Basic White Cardstock;
Stamp “Happy Valentine’s Day in Real Red;
3. Adhere Hearts together with Stampin’ Dimensionals;
Adhere to front of Pouch with Stampin’ Dimensionals
4. Add gold Sequin
Finishing Up:
1. Insert Gift Card into Pouch
