Unbounded Beauty Birthday Card with Gift Card Holder

Supplies:

Stamps: Flowers of Beauty; Unbounded Love

Cardstock:  Basic White Thick; Basic White; Pretty in Pink

Designer Series Paper:  Unbounded Beauty

Embossing:  Painted Textures 3D

Punch:  Corner Rounder

Ink: Blackberry Bliss; Pretty in Pink

Adhesive:  Liquid Glue; Stampin’ Dimensionals; Stampin’ Seal +; Tear & Tape

Tools:  Bone Folder; Paper Snips; Stampin’ Cut & Emboss

Other:  Gift Card

Directions:

Card Base:

1. Cut Pretty in Pink Cardstock 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”;

Score on 4-1/2” on 8-1/2” side;

Fold on Score lines & burnish with Bone Folder

Card Front Strips:

1. Cut 3 Strips 1” x 4-1/2”

2. Emboss all 3 strips with Painted Texture

3. Center, line up & place all 3 Strips on the Card Front;

Adhere the Strip on the left side in place with Stampin’ Seal +;

Repeat for the opposite side Strip, lining up with the first;

Repeat for center Strip

Sentiment:

1. Cut Petal Pink Cardstock 2-1/2” x 3-1/4”

2. Emboss with Painted Texture

3. Cut Basic White 2-1/4” x 3”

4. Stamp “Happy Birthday” at the bottom with Blackberry Bliss Ink

5. Adhere together with Liquid Glue;

6. Adhere to Card Front with Liquid Glue

Flowers & Leaves:

1. Stamp Leaves in Summer Splash, stamping off once on top corner of Basic White

2. Stamp over the Center Leaves Stamp in Summer Splash, stamping off once

3. Stamp Flower

4. Place Flower Two-Step Stamps on a clear block each, lining up each Stamp

as shown on the front of the Stamp Case;

Stamp outline Flower Stamp on Basic White scrap in Pretty in Pink Ink;

Line up the detailed Flower Stamp over the first in Pretty in Pink,

stamping off once for a lighter color

Stamp center Stamp over the center of the Flower in Pretty in Ink

5. Fussy Flower with Paper Snips

6. Adhere Flower to Sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Add Gem

Inside:

1. Cut Basic White 4” x 5-1/4”; adhere to inside with Liquid Glue

2. Cut DSP 4” x 3/4”; adhere along the top with Liquid Glue

Gift Card Holder: (Gift Card Size: 3-1/2” x 2-/14”)

1. Cut Pretty In Pink Cardstock  4-1/2” x 6”

2. On 6” side Score 2” + 4-1/2” for pouch;

Fold on Score line & burnish with Bone Folder

3. Round all four corners

4. Fold the smaller piece upward for the bottom;

Adhere the sides only with Tear & Tape, leaving a pouch open

5. Insert Gift Card

Band:

1. Cut coordinating DSP (use any directional pattern only) 6” x 1-1/4”

2. Close the Holder & wrap the Band around the center of the Holder

Fold the top over the bottom piece & adhere with Tear & Tape

(Being sure the Band will easily slide on & off the Holder)

3. Adhere coordinating Flower to cover the edges on the Band with

Stampin’ Dimensionals
