  1. Cutting Plates - make a difference

     Stampin’ Cutting & Emboss Plates - each designed for each purpose

Plates for Die Cutting:

#1 Base Plate -  used for just what it says - a base

always used - for every project - as a Base  (printed instructions on plate)

 #2 Die Cutting Plate - just what it says - Die Cutting (instructions on plate)

  #3 Clear Plate - will get scratched - indented - when die cutting - designed to do

  Paper with Die

  #3 Clear Plate

Must have the correct plates - in the correct order - for the Die Cutting to work

die not cutting out - check plates are correct & in right order - (this can easily happen)

2.  Post It Note Tape

Stamp image on choice of paper;

Line up Die over image, cutting side down - only way it will line up

Place Post It Note strips over Die & image - to hold in place - Die Cut

Re-usable & won’t tear paper  (Washi tape - can tear paper)

3.  Wax paper for Intricate Dies:

     Use Wax Paper between the Die & the Cardstock on the Cutting Plate

     This is helpful especially if the Die is new

4.  Foam Pad & Take Your Pick Die Brush:

    Replace one end of your “Take Your Pick Tool” - with Die Brush”;

    Place cut out die - on foam pad - brush with Die Brush - release paper

    Holes in back of Die - use pointed end - Take Your Pick Tool - release paper
