Supplies:
Stamp: “Filled with Joy” Paper Pumpkin Kit 11/2024
Designer Series Paper: Take a Bow 6” x 6”
Cardstock: Basic White
Ink: Real Red
Punch: 1-1/2” Circle Punch
Adhesive: Stampin’ Dimensionals
Tools: Bone Folder; Paper Trimmer; Take Your Pick Tool
Embellishments: Coordinating colored gems
Treat: Ghirardelli Mini Bite Size Peppermint Bark Packet
[Origami comes from the Japanese word oru [“to fold”] and kami [“paper”]
Directions:
A: "Mini" Ghirardelli Peppermint Squares:
1. Cut 6” x 6” all directional pattern DSP 4-1/2” x 4-1/2”
(Note: use DSP 1-1/2” x 1-1/2” scraps in your card making)
B: Ghirardelli Pepermint Bark Squares 2-3/4” x 2”:
1. Cut DSP 6” x 6” all directional pattern
Origami Fold:
1. Fold one corner of the square to the opposite corner to form a Triangle;
Fold on Score line & burnish with Bone Folder
2. With the loose DSP at the top, fold the right side bottom corner
to the opposite side, parallel with the top flap;
Fold on Score line & burnish with Bone Folder
3. Fold the left side over the right, lining with the edges;
Fold on Score line & burnish with Bone Folder
4. Fold the loose top triangle over to the front;
Fold on Score line & burnish Score line with Bone Folder
5. Push in the sides to form a pocket
Sentiment:
1. Punch Basic White Cardstock with Circle Punch
2. Stamp “Merry Christmas” in Real Red Ink;
Add a Stampin’ Dimensional at the top & bottom & adhere to front
(Note: This will hold the pocket in place)
3. Adhere Gem with putty end of Take Your Pick Tool
Finishing Up:
1. Slightly push the sides together to form a pocket
2. Insert Mini Ghirardelli Mini Bite Size Peppermint Bark Packet
