Cardstock: Basic White; Night of Navy  

Designer Series Paper: Botanical Textures

Stamps: Round We Go

Ink:  Night of Navy

Dies: Textured Notes; Thankful Garden

Adhesive: Liquid Glue; Stampin’ Dimensionals

Embellishments: Blue Adhesive Backed Gems

Envelope:  Medium Basic White

Tools:  Bone Folder; Paper Snips; Paper Trimmer; Stampin’ Cut & Emboss

Other: Gift Card

Directions:

Card Base:

1. Score Night of Navy Cardstock 4-1/4” on 8-1/2” side; Cut 11" side at 5-1/2”;

Fold on Score line & burnish with Bone Folder (makes 2 card bases)

Card Front:

1. Cut Basic White 4” x 5-1/4” & adhere to Card Base with Liquid Glue

DSP Strips:

1. Cut Basic White Cardstock 3-3/4” x 5” (cut 2)

2. Cut 6 coordinating DSP Strips 3-3/4” x 1” for a pattern design (one is for the inside)

3. Layer 5 DSP Strips covering the Basic White Cardstock & adhere each Strip

with Liquid Glue, starting from the bottom

4. Center & adhere to Card Front with Liquid Glue

Inside Card:

1. Adhere the remaining DSP Strip along the top of the other Basic White Cardstock;

adhere Basic White to inside card with Liquid Glue

Sentiment:

1. Die Cut the 3rd smallest Rectangle Die (3-1/4” x 1-3/4”) with Night of Navy Cardstock

2. Die Cut 2nd smallest Rectangle Die (2-3/4” x 1-1/4”) with Basic White Cardstock

Stamp “Happy Birthday” from Round We Go in the center with Night of Navy Ink

3. Adhere Rectangles together with Liquid Glue;

Center & adhere to Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals

4. Add Gem

Gift Card Holder Pocket:

1. Die Cut Basic White Cardstock with 4th smallest Rectangle Die (3-3/4” x 2-1/4)

2. Stamp Stars in Night of Navy Ink in the corner

3. Center on the left inside, lining up the bottom with the other side;

Adhere with Liquid Glue only along the edge of the bottom & both sides,

leaving the top without adhesive

4. Insert Gift Card into Pocket

Envelope:

1. Cut coordinating DSP 6” x 2-1/2”

2. Add Liquid Glue to the outside envelope flap, not too close to the edges;

Center & place DSP along the fold, covering all sides of the envelope;

Press over the DSP & burnish over with Bone Folder
