DSP Layering Masculine Card

Finished Card Size:  4-1/4” x 5-1/2”


Supplies;

Stamps:  Lovely Arrangements

Cardstock:  Basic White; Crumb Cake; Pecan Pie;

Dies:  Paradise Garden; Stitched Rectangle; Thankful Garden

Designer Series Paper: Botanical Textures

Ink: Early Espresso

Adhesive:  Liquid Glue; Mini Glue Dots; Stampin’ Dimensionals; Stampin’ Seal +

Tools:  Bone Folder; Paper Snips; Paper Trimmer; Stampin’  Cut & Emboss

Other: Neutral Matte Dots; Basic White Envelope


Directions


Card Base:

1. Cut Pecan Pie Cardstock 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”; Score 4-1/4” on 8-1/2” side


2. Fold on Score lines & burnish with Bone Folder


Card Front:

1. Cut Basic White Cardstock 3-3/4” x 5” (** cut a second one for inside card)

Turn at an angle with the corner point at the bottom


2. Cut 6 or 7 DSP Strips 1” wide;

Alternate & place all coordinating DSP Strips side by side on the Card Front,

overlapping all sides & completely covering the Basic White Cardstock;

Adhere each piece in place with Stampin’ Seal + or Liquid Glue


3. Center & adhere to Card Base with Liquid Glue


Sentiment:

1. Die Cut smallest Rectangle Die from Stitched Rectangle Dies in Pecan Pie Cardstock;

Die Cut second smallest Rectangle Die in Crumb Cake Cardstock;

Die Cut smaller Sentiment Die from Paradise Garden Dies in Basic White Cardstock;

Die Cut Leaves from Thankful Garden in Basic White & Crumb Cake Cardstock


2. Adhere two Rectangles together with Stampin’ Dimensionals;


3. Stamp “Happy Birthday” from Lovely Arrangements on Basic White scrap

in Early Espresso Ink;


4. Die Cut with coordinating Die from Lovely Arrangements;

Adhere to Rectangles with Liquid Glue; adhere to Card Front with Liquid Glue


5. Add Neutral Matte Dot


Leaves:

1. Trim bottom of Leaves & adhere underneath the Sentiment with Mini Glue Dots


Inside Card:

1. Center & adhere second Basic White Cardstock 3-3/4” x 5” to inside Card

with Liquid Glue


2. Cut coordinating DSP Strip 3/4” x 5”;

Adhere along the top of the Basic White with Liquid Glue


Envelope:

1. Cut coordinating DSP 6” x 2-1/2”


2. Add Liquid Glue to Envelope flap; Line up DSP along envelope edge

covering both sides;


3. Adhere & press along the inside envelope flap; trim along edges of envelope
