Color Challenge February: Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo

Supplies:

Cardstock: Basic White; Daffodil Delight; Flirty Flamingo

Ink: Flirty Flamingo; Melon Mambo;

Kit: "Hearts for You” Pumpkin Kit 1/25

Adhesive: Liquid Glue; Mini Glue Dots; Stampin’ Dimensionals

Embellishments:  Iridescent Basic Pearls

Tools: Blending Brushes; Bone Folder; Heart Punch; Paper Snips; Paper Trimmer

Other: Post-it-Notes


Directions:

Card Base:

1. Cut Basic White 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”


2. Score 8-1/2” at 4-1/4”;

Fold on Score Line & burnish with Bone Folder


3. Cut Daffodil Delight Cardstock 5-1/4” x 4”;

Adhere with Liquid Glue


4. Cut Flirty Flamingo Cardstock 5” x 3-3/4”;

Adhere with Liquid Glue


Sentiment:

1. Cut a Basic White strip 4-3/4” x 1/2"


2. Stamp “Celebrate Love” in the center with Melon Mambo Ink


Card Front:

1. Cut Basic White 4-1/2” x 3-1/2”


2. Center & line up Heart Stencils from Kit & hold in place with Post-It-Notes for a

background


3. Brush Melon Mambo Ink along the Heart Stencils with Blending Brush;

carefully remove Stencils


4. Adhere to Card Base with Liquid Glue, leaving room for the Sentiment at the bottom


Hearts:

1. Create a variety of Hearts by using a punch, stencils from the Kit or fussy cutting with

Basic White, Flirty Flamingo & Melon Mambo Cardstock;


2. Brush a few Basic White Hearts in a variety of shades with Blending Brushes;

stamp “Love” on a Basic White Heart in Melon Mambo Ink


Finishing Up:

1. Adhere Sentiment to the base of the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals


2. Arrange & layer Hearts on Card Front with Liquid Glue, Mini Glue Dots or

Stampin’ Dimensionals to your liking.


3. Add Basic Pearls
