What is a color challenge?

A challenge given to you to create & design a card using the assigned three colors, which can be used along with the base colors of Basic White, Very Vanilla or black ink.


Challenge Colors: Azure Afternoon, Balmy Blue, Pebbled Path

(with added Basic White & Memento Tuxedo Black Ink)


Supplies:

Stamps:  Blueberry Bunches

Cardstock: Azure Afternoon; Basic White

Ink:  Azure Afternoon; Balmy Blue; Pebbled Path; Memento Tuxedo Black added

Stampin’ Blends:  Azure Afternoon Light & Dark; Balmy Blue Light & Dark;

Embossing:  Cane Weave

Adhesive: Liquid Glue; Stampin’ Dimensionals

Embellishments:  Iridescent Peals Basic Jewels

Tools:  Blender Pen; Bone Folder; Paper Trimmer; Stampin’ Cut & Emboss


Card Base:

1. Cut Basic White 4-1/4” x 11”


2. Score 11” at 5-1/2”;

Fold on Score line & burnish with Bone Folder


Embossing:

1. Cut Azure Afternoon Cardstock 2-1/2” x 5-1/4”


2. Emboss with Cane Weave Embossing Folder & Stampin’ Cut & Emboss


3. Adhere to the left side with of Card Base with Liquid Glue,

leaving a border of 1/4” along the top, bottom & side


Card Front:

1. Cut Basic White Cardstock 3-1/2” x 4-1/2”


2. Cut Basic White Cardstock 3-1/4” x 4-1/4”

Stamp Blueberry Stamp in Memento Black Ink


3. Color Blueberry with Balmy Blue Light & Dark Stampin’ Blends;

Highlight with Azure Afternoon Light & Dark Stampin’ Blends;

Color Leaves with Pebbled Path Ink & Blender Pen


4. Adhere 2 Basic White Cardstocks together with Liquid Glue;

Adhere to Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals


Sentiment:

1. Cut Basic White 4” x 3/4”


2. Stamp “Sending You bunches of Birthday Wishes” in Azure Afternoon Ink


3. Adhere to Card Front with Liquid Glue


4. Add Pearl Basic Jewels
