DSP Gift Box for Foam Adhesive Sheets

Box Size:  5” x 5-3/4”

Supplies: 

Stamps: Bee My Valentine

Designer Series Paper:  Made with Love

Cardstock:  Basic White; Pretty in Pink; Strawberry Slush

Dies:  Textured Notes; Thankful Garden

Ink: Strawberry Slush

Tools:  Bone Folder; Paper Snips; Paper Trimmer; Stampin’ Cut & Emboss

Adhesive: Mini Glue Dots; Tear & Tape

Embellishments: Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins

Gift: Foam Adhesive Sheets

Box:

1. Cut DSP 12” x 7-1/2”

2. Score on 12” side at 1-3/4”; 2-1/2”; 7-1/2” & 8-1/4”’

On 7-1/2” side, Score 3/4” at the top & bottom;

Fold on Score lines & burnish with Bone Folder, folding the top to the front

3. Adhere the top corners with Tear & Tape

4. Cut up all bottom Score lines

Adhering Bag:

1. Place DSP with the inside facing upward;

Fold the left side of the DSP over on the 2nd fold;

2. Add Tear & Tape along the edge of the front & inside edge from the top to the bottom & remove backing

3. Fold the other side over on the 1st fold & adhere sides together

Adhering the bottom:

1. Fold the bottom back inward without adhesive;

Add adhesive to both sides & front on the inside; remove backing & adhere bottom

(Note: this will give the box a finished look)

2. Run round end of Bone Folder along the inside bottom to adhere

Sentiment:

1. Die Cut 3 Leaves from Thankful Garden in Basic White, Pretty in Pink

& Strawberry Slush;

Die Cut Strawberry Slush Cardstock with 2nd smallest Rectangle Die;

Die Cut Basic White Cardstock with 3rd smallest Rectangle Die;

Die Cut Basic White Cardstock with 3-1/2” x 1/2” Rectangle Die for sentiment;

Stamp “you’re as sweet as honey” in Strawberry Slush Ink

2. Center & adhere Strawberry Slush rectangle to Basic White rectangle

along the bottom only with Stampin’ Dimensionals, leaving room for Leaves;

Center & adhere to front of Box with Liquid Glue;

Center & adhere Sentiment to Strawberry Slush rectangle

3. Arrange Leaves underneath Strawberry Slush rectangle & adhere with Mini Glue Dots;

4. Add Heart Sequin

Finishing Up:

1. Insert Foam Adhesive Sheets into Box
